Hi, Just had my first service at 950 miles, bike came back with a vibration on the left foot peg which after a short while gives me a feeling in my foot like I've been operating a road drill. Vibration more noticeable at constant speeds and gets worse and is really uncomfortable at the bars and the foot peg over 4k revs in top. Same vibration on the overrun. Dealer gave it a quick ride and said it's nothing and to ride it for a while but its now unpleasant to ride for any length of time - any suggestions please?

I've tried it without the luggage and it makes no difference, checked the tyres and everything else seems tight. Will try different dealer next week. Love the bike but I can't ride it like this

This doesn't sound like an 'Airhead' problem - It should probably be in the '1200' Section.

It sounds as though the injectors are out of synch, or one plug on the LH cylinder isn't firing.

Move it to the Oilhead Section and the experts will soon be circling !

Good luck.

Bob.

Valve clearances will cause an uncomfortable ride if not correctly set. Mine was horrible until I got it serviced in Germany at 6000 miles. Bike was transformed when I got it back from it's service (half the cost of a UK service)
