power seems ok - it just comes up with a data error regular on the bike, but never in the car.
nightmare cos i love the thing and it has a great ram mount etc. shame
You say StreetPilot... It's not a 2620 by any chance is it
These are not solid state but use an IBM MicroDrive mini hard disk. They are no good for bike use I'm afraid to say, especially one where there's vibes and road shocks. A plush cruiser or a GoldWing might just get away with it.

It did cross my mind.. but assumed it wasn't 2610 for that reason.
If its a speedo bracket with SPIII or 2610 loaded, then and call it a quirk of the bike short arm (RAM-B-201-A) was ok, standard arm (RAM-B-201) did cause vib, strange that *length* for once was an issue
As for GoldWing, did see one biker go thru several TT Rider 1 cradles on that smooth beast !

imagine me designing someones house tomorrow, but then having to tell the client they cant live in it!
the streetpilot was even sold with a bike mounting bracket
