Does anyone know if there is a way to increase vibrations in the handles. After a couple of hours drive on highways on my Adventure my I loose the feeling in my hands due to vibrations. Also my feets feels strange from foot peg vibrations. Here in Sweden the Police was forbidden to drive BWM-motorcycles last week because a lot of policemen have problems with blood circulation in the hands.

I have a similar problem with my bars, but only on the right hand side. I found that if I change my hand position so my thumb rests on my finger it helps a lot. For me its only the thumb that suffers.

I know this might sound stupid but give it a go. I was wondering why one thumb and not the other was affected and realised that my hand position was not the same on both sides. I changes accordingly this morning and it worked. This is on my 1 hour commute into work.

For the pegs you could try changing the pegs for the pillion pegs which have more rubber. Its an easy change and should work, cost zero euros. I have not tried it as I don't suffer the problem.

Sounds like your bike needs a valve adjustment and a good throttle synch.
Do a search on here for synchronising throttles and valve adjustment.
It is really very straightforward - once you have done it once its very simple.
This should sort out your vibrations for you.

Thanks, Richie. Good advice. I will try that. The sync is not the problem. The bike have only got 3.000 km so far. And I got it synchonized at the service. The problem is the small vibrations in the handles that gives me the feeling of bad blood circulations, like if the hands are sleeping. I had the same problem with my last 1150 GS, but now with the ADV the rpm is higher due to another gearbox so my problems are worse.

The technical term is "White Finger" and this is a real problem here in the UK , in the construction industry for people who use power tools, such as drills, saws etc

Without wishing to flog a dead horse, the sync almost certainly is the problem - it may not have been done corrrectly at your service - it's the most likely cause of high frequency vibes...
