I'm finding that my new F700GS has a cheeky personality... its not even fazed by a ZZR1400.... Its a hoot!:D

A tussle with a Gixer and ZZR1400, that's heavily overstated isn't it!

Nimble and pokey, the F7 is, a match for those two it most certainly is not (assuming capable risers in each case), and the route you were riding would hardly allow those bikes to properly stretch their legs without it being a suicide mission.

From the heavily edited clip I saw it looks to me as if those two guys were taking it easy and you were riding more "briskly" than they are for what ever reason. Sorry but not impressed.

er... I think you've misunderstood..:blast. no one would claim that a baby GS was a match for a ZZR (which bike I also ride incidentally - as below)...

The title gives away something of what this is about - a smaller bike being a bit cheeky with a much bigger one.... lighten up!

Nothing really dramatic - that wasn't the intention- just a bit of fun.:aidan

As for impressing... well again, not really likely with that footage.... mildly amused perhaps...I think that was the intention.

I don't think its a matter of lightening up, but what part of
its not even fazed by a ZZR1400
did I miss understand exactly:nenau
Its all down to interpretation and expectation but, I find your hook is misleading, it leads me to think that at some point there was going to be a bit of jigginess going on round the twisties showing how the little gs can make life difficult for a point and squirt rider on a big bike when it all gets very bendy perhaps.

If you want to do light hearted fun reviews that's fine, but literal cantankerous critics like me who dampen your mojo expect to get what they offered and feel short changed if they don't.

Yeah I know what you mean - I went out with a veggie once...but I found I just loved beef to much... and pork, and lamb... and BACON!!!:aidan

So is the Trowbridge/Melksham/Chippenham bypass your regular stomping ground? I would be more impressed if you had knobblies and full luggage getting through those gaps.

Sorry to disappoint - just the luggage and a pillion....

I thought it was a lot of noise for very little speed :comfort

Made me smile and then wince through the gaps.

Also noticed the cars got the jump on you.

I'm hoping there is not a 50cc scooter rider in Southampton with a similar clip on how "he beat" a GSA.
