Have always viewed the GS range from afar, well the larger models as we have just picked up a f650 single for my wife.
I always considered the 1100/1150/1200's as too big, I'm around 5'10" or so but have a short leg. On a recent meet up one of the guys had a mint 98 1100GS and I asked could I try it for size.
Lo and behold it was perfect. The sense and feel of the bike, albeit stationary, was class. So now I must have one.
If anyone has one in NI, between 96 and 98, and for sensible money let me know.
