Views on the Akrapovic exhaust?

Hey guys,

What are your views on the Akrapovic Exhaust slip on for the F800GS?
Is it just stupidly over priced, or do you get something for your money?

As with all performance exhausts they are expensive BUT they sound gorgeous
If youve got the money spare for a bit of bling then go for it otherwise spend your money elsewhere.

I thought about Remus or Two Brothers. However, TwoBro's apparently are 'neighbours are going to hate you' loud; while remus are little less so - but look really nice.

However, the Akrapovic is covered under warranty - so BMW cannot just turn around and say 'its not our fault' if anything happens.

Agreed. I have one fitted. Very well made, easily fitted and sounds terrific.

A mate has the Remus fitted. Cheaper but also sounds great, more of a bark to it.

I bought the Arrow can, excellent quality and only £340 well worth a look in my opinion it looks better than the akro, dont get me wrong ive had akro's on almost every bike ive owned from R1's to 1200GSA so im not a hater I just thought they were well over priced for the GS

Fuel Can

Hi

I have a Fuel Ti Can on mine and it is brilliantly made and sounds amazing. It "pop's and fart's" lovely on overun. Cheap on ebay too.
P.S. I have no link to Fuel. They are just local and the Akra is daft money in my eyes.

I'll take a good look at the Arrow's - a friend of mine has a pair fitted to his street triple; they do sound gorgeous

Akrapovic is expensive, the I bloody love it... mind you, won't be satisfied until I've got a decat pipe on there
