doe sit not matter that i'm arriving on a motorbike, rather than flying in? i can still apply for the same visa as everyone else

Try contacting these people. I used them for my visa last year they are very helpfull. Told them I was using a bike and they sorted out my visa accordingly. Much quicker than using the London one and no problems.
