As per a previous post now possess a vista based Dell laptop. It has a fairly fast processor, and one of it's intended uses is to edit AVCHD files from the camcorder using Adobe Premiere Elements 7. So far all seems ok except as regards the video playback quality within Premiere Elements editor window. To say the least it's somewhat blurred, and definately worse that when running it on the desktop computer which runs under XP. The output from the editor when saved as an MPEG or AVI file plays perfectly with excellent quality, but I would prefer to have representative quality in the programme browser if possible. Any suggstions gratefully accepted. Don't really want to install XP on the new laptop if possible. Thanks all.
