Hi chaps

My lovely baby was in winter sleep for approximately 3 months. Its time to wake up anymore and planning to change the engine oil with filter plus i was thinking if its good idea to change the fuel in the tank which is half full or should i just fill up and add some injection cleaner.

Can anyone also advice me how to empty the fuel in the tank in easiest possible way as i will remove the tank to put the battery back

Any recommendations would be great to check please.

Three months is f all.
I leave my C90 engine moped race bike for 12 moths at a time and it always fires up straight away.

Only change the oil if it's due. Don't change it because it's been sat for three months. It's already 60 million years old.
Give it a check over and ride it.
Take it easy for a few miles because you've been off the road too.

Check the tyre pressures then as above, start it and ride it. I left my 1150 parked up from Sept to early Feb - didn't even charge the battery and it started fine.

Good luck and enjoy:thumby:

I was surprised too. That's the longest I've left a bike without having issues and a great advert for MotoBatt batteries. Best of luck with starting your bike:thumb

I'd change all the fluids, brake pads and tyres just to be on the safe side. You can't be too adventurious in the world of adventure motorcycling..
