Mate, I don't know if you are going anywhere near the 'Devil's Staircase', but............if you are and like a bit of a challenge and some nice scenary do it!.
We went there a few weeks ago, me on my GSA and my friends on their HD's (2 of which are girls) and what a road.
One bit - some serious bends on a hill with a sign showing 25% gradient (more like 45 degrees in places). But then some nice views.
I did the Transfagarasan Highway last year in Romania which is claimed to be a good road, but I will remember the 'Devil's Staircase' longer. Both good roads but the later made me think a bit more whilst doing it, I was surprised the HD's managed it.
Where is it ? ride from a village called Abergwesyn to Tregaron (in that direction), I am sure you will remember it.

I recommend the A4069 from Llangadog southwards if your over that way - top bit of road for sure. Bit like a mini alpine pass towards the top.

I've got a feeling the B4358 is a cracker too if it's the one I'm thinking off. Bit of a rollercoaster.

Nice route is

Bala

a4212 a470 and a487 to port Merrion

a4085 a498 to pen y gwyd,

a4086 Capel curig

a6 betwys,

a5 and a453 denbigh

a525 ruthin

I ride it regularly and it's got some ace bits the 4212 is scary fast and twisty if that yr thing.

Watch out for NWP, not your average bobbies when it comes to roads policing

Have a cool trip

a494 towards mold and home

Do a search for Staylittle in the Wales section.

There's plenty of info

Try these, plenty to look at. Join a few up if you must :thumb
