Walk up Tryfan

Just got home.

Great day out, but I'm bolloxed now.

Pete you need to get a pair of walking sticks, their great:D

Well after months of detail planning :D and one cancelled attempt :( it finally happened.

Tryfan was finally bagged.

After a pitching in a very wet field at about 10.30pm last night and finding I'd runout of gas it was cold rashions for your's truely (but my flask was full:D).

I never did graduate from the boy scouts, very badly prepared. o out of 10.

At about 8.00am we had arranged to meet at the camp site with the layby just outside, text comes in from DaveGS "Pete (Yamonda) is in the layby and I'll be 15 min)"

Ok i think I'll go meet Pete in the layby, so goes out to the road and find no layby outside my camp site. In the pitch darkness the night before I had camped in the wrong field. I failed my navigation badge as well.

Never mind Dave picks me up and we drive the half mile to Pete.

10 mins later we set out but without Trang cos he had to go into work

Tryfan is a strange place its just like a pile of large rubble and today it was rather slip, even in todays cloudy weather it was still quiet busy up at the top.

We didn't try Bristly ridge this time, but a few did.

After lengthy repairs to his internet connection our scoop reporter can now reveal exclusive pictures of a recent outing to Tryfan by members of the Effete Gentleman's Walking Society of Wales.

To obtain these pictures our intrepid reporter had to go undercover posing as a fellow debauchee, albeit without 'walking poles', the true purpose of which would shock you, and was at all times at risk of molestation if his true role was discovered.

Shown here a member from the Southern Section is pursued by a member from the Northern Section as he pranced gayly downhill shouting "Catch me catch me ...".

What transpired in the mists at the summit cannot be shown on an open forum.

Further revelations will follow after consultation with our Legal Department.

With what's coming your way after these accusations I don't think your legal department could cope.

See you in court

And to be precise he wasn't saying "Catch me catch me....." It was " Chase me with your poles......"
