Hi Bill yes- still kicking ! the operation went OK-still got some pain but hey-ho it all works so no complaints! and to think it the surgeons got busy on me on New Year's eve...

great way to see the new year in!
Got busy with POI's during the recovery period- managed to upload 326,000! of them on my gps (gps memory crash came at somewhere just beyong that number) and still leave the 2000 POi memory totally free
Filtering the net for good points and laboriously also manually building databases. They weigh nothing too! but it was a lot of work over near 4 months. Something to do when I was hopping along!

.....Maroc- nowt new for there and can't beat the current free map. So for Maroc I would say - no need for Wanderlust.
Wanderlust is an 'open project' anyone can upload their tracks (don't save them as this compresses and loses detail) up the the
www.smellybiker.com site and some software will integrate the tracks get added to the appropriate map for the part of the world the tracks came from. So ridden routes provide solid quality data for Bob.
Anyone can contribute for any part of the world- The more the better
