Warning light

I have had a couple of instances last weekend whilst touring in France when the yellow warning triangle came on and at the same time, the speedo and rev counter needles both stop working and the screen goes blank on 2010 GS1200 (only 7K miles on the clock).

After a few minutes, all returns to normal.

Also had a blank screen on starting up a couple of times before it comes back again.

Engine running is not affected at all.

Checked the book and not much the wiser!

Any ideas?

Check the connector fitted at the back of the instrument cluster - its at the back on the LH side as you look at it. Might not be in properly.

Thanks for the reply. Since traced the fault (well, I didn't, dealer did. - after 2 days searching apparently!)
Turns out it was one broken wire leading to the dash. Thankfully dealership covered the labour costs as there was no logical reason for it to have broken and they have not encountered it before.
