phone in shirt pocket

I had a heart attack 16 years ago.
For the last 15 years, I have been carrying my phone in my shirt pocket.

I am still awaiting the ill effects this is supposed to bring.

Maybe if I wait another 20 years or so it will happen, but, since I'll probably be dead by then, I can't see that it matters.

Myke.

It's not that long ago that doctors were telling patients to smoke to relieve stress and local authorities were insulating school classrooms with blue asbestos.

There is much we don't know about mobile phones and I will not carry a mobile in a pocket in tight clothes, neither will my kids.

Now you might think this is all bollocks but you really don't know and where big business and gov revenue is concerned you wont get to the bottom of it until the evidence is indisputable.

I will wait for the criticism of this post, but as someone who went through 7 months of chemo with 4 tumors in my groin I am absolutely convinced that there is a connection (my consultant told me it was likely but not proven) and I will not take a chance.

What you all do is up to you but don't slag Giles for raising the issue as he may just have a point.

Totally agree. A mate had alot of headaches he used to wear one of those bluetooth ear pieces for his mobile. one day when we were out he said the pain was very bad. I said "do you reckon that gizmo on your head could be the cause" he stopped wearing the thing and after a short period the headaches went . Yet all the scans he had reveiled nowt. I:nenau rest my case.

He's absolutely right about the dangers of mobile phones in chest pockets.

When I came off the bike in 2001 (when mobiles were the size of half a brick) I broke 2 ribs because of it.... :D

I came off a TDM and the phone did my ribs as well, don't know if they were broke didn't bother getting them x-rayed, but for 2 months I went into a cold sweat at the thought of sneezing.
