Just in case you weren't aware, if you buy something from a non-BM dealer eg a BM Nav 3 and you send it back to Garmin for repair after it's one year old, then you'll have to contact the supplying business to get them to sort out the warranty above Garmins one years.
If you bought the unit from a BM dealer or have a BM receipt, then BM will honour the two year warranty.
In my case while I'm not too impressed, I'm not going to top myself as the out of warranty repair cost was a lot less than what I saved, when I bought it.
