Sad news ...
ive spoken to Mandy (Stu's wife) and all the farm machinery has now been sold off, anything of any value has been sold too including the toilet and shower block, the generator etc,and she sold our blinking tables :blastwhich were inside the shower block for storage...hey ho.I didnt even get a call to ask was there anything of ours left,i guess shes not thinking straight after the sad loss, i cant blame her.
The fields are all to be let out for grazing to another farmer.
So no more camping up at Warren,I bet Stu is spitting nylocs and bolts,he was trying to expanding the leisure side of the farm and it was one of his pet projects hence why he bought us the shower block.
So unfortunetley the autumn camp is cancelled.
I'll have a wander back down to the first farm we started at when i get five minutes and see what i can do.Pauly

Warren Farm come up in conversation today.... shame how things turned out....

Sorry to hear that. I was there last year and had a bril time. It was just a nice balance of beer , bikes and bollox round the camp fire - not too many people and a bloody good time indeed. :(

I am sure we can have a whip round at the sucessor rally to pay for the missing tables.

That's a sad end all round, but she has to do what's best for herself.

It would be great if we could get somewhere else. I know of a campsite that allows fires and has basic bogs and showers. But it also has a fishing lake that the campsite is based around.

It's in Hartfield, Sussex.

Shready..

Do the do mate, see what you can find out, i wont be dragging the marquee down or the cooking range(weve lost the tables anyways) but quite fancy a change of scenery none the less.
You da man.
Do they allow shooting?ive got some great targets now for all the big kids.
