Dealer says....

Went into dealer yesterday and was told warranty will be void if rad guards are fitted so if your engine blows remove the guards
Dealer also said bmw are working on a rad guard that is designed not to restrict airflow .. Dunno how that will be any different to any other

It will get BMW some money , that's the difference.

Seriously thou I believe BMW have a tendency to make thinks well designed with neutral apperance.

Some aftermarket guards are great but might not appeal to most people aestetics.
I wait till BMW make their own and then decide.

Probably will be angled stators, rather than a grille, look at a 80s DT 125 LC and you'll get the idea.
