i have normal tom tom and would like to use on bike , does anybody know of a waterproof cover for it

Am lookin for same type of cover , my idea is a smaller version of the clear tank bag covers
with the elasticated bottom.
finding one thats the callenge.:blast

Carry a roll of small zip-lock clear freezer bags and slip one over the unit if it starts to rain. Twang an elastic band around the bottom to stop it blowing off :thumb2

You could try using an Otter Box. One of the PDA ones should be about the right size if they don't do one specifically for the 'normal' TomToms.

Av found a manufacturer of tom, tom case covers. ( leather only, not waterproof ):(

they said that there wasnt a waterproof cover at the mo.
i told em that there would be a market for them if they made one to fit sat navs , ie the go 300 tom, tom. (not waterproof)
if enough interest they will make one up..:thumb2

they are geting back intouch with me later...c wot appens:augie

here you are guys. Take a look in www.buybits.com they have all sorts of goodies for your tom tom. I myself have their handlebar mount for my tom tom one xl. It's a simple but super bit of kit. Please let me know how you get on with a waterproof cover, might get one myself

till the company gets back to me Ive done this to mine.
Ive already a silicone cover on mine so i.......

1st get some clear flexible plastic cut out two squares and feed it into the back and the front of ye screen, of ye silicone tom,tom cover.

gps tom tom cover 006.jpg (its like fekin "blue peter" but without parental consent)

next get yer trusty silycunt gun and liberally apply to the inner sides of the cover to sandwich the inner plastic sheet to the tom,tom silicone cover.

gps tom tom cover 005.jpg make sure its gets to the sides of the cover to get a good seal.
gps tom tom cover 004.jpg

cut out ye power fitting hole's smaller so there will be some water protection on the socket , ye mite have to put extra silicunt on these areas?

looks like this after..

(this is an experiment so i will accept no responsibility if any one uses this method n damages the sat nav tom ,tom):thedummy

am gonna try it on the bike later....i can always use a plastic bag over if it rains really heavy, but i recon its at least shower proof...:thumb

this is another UGG.TEK production, sort of:augie
