Does any one out there know of a source of waterproof switches for the bike? I'm after something that will go on the bars but not look that it came off a Reliant Robin. Can't find anything in the Touratech catalogue.

Cheers all

How many switches do you need and is it for an 1150?

If you only want one go to a model shop and get a small rocker switch then drill/cut out a hole in the dash to the left of the warning lights, feed the wiring up from underneath, attach to switch and push the switch assembly into the hole and voila, a nice tidy job!

Give us a clue what you need it for....

If its for aux lights, maybe Rob's Motoswitch will do the job, or wire a relay into the main beam to operate them simultaneously. If it's something else, there may still be a tidier way of doing it.

If you only want one, then i've got a PIAA switch you can have (left over from adding lights to mine). Got one fitted to mine and it's good quality with a dual illuminated function (green for standby and red for active). Harness and connectors with it which is long enough to reach back to the fusebox (if required). Only thing with it, is that it doesn't have a 'mounting' as such. It's supplied with velcro. Have used this with the one i've fitted and so far it seems fine. If you're interested, just let me know. It's free to a good home. I've no use for it, but it was too 'good' to throw away.

I think that the Part off the 650 GS that mounts the heated grips switch onto the top of the bar clamp fits the 11*0GS it would make a neat installation and the switches for it would be water proof. Dealer/Motorworks/Motobins

Problem solved

managed to locate a Bm switch - as advised by Roger the one off the F650 is spot on, also a big thanks Johnie for the offer - the thought is appreciated
