train from Pitlochry to EDI, onto smart train down to Tweedbank, free coach to Abbotsford, lunch in Visitor Centre, browse round Walter Scott expo, free coach back to station, lavish tea at seat...



short wait at Waverley, train/snooze back to Pitlochry, collect (excellent) haddocknchips on way home....excellent day out.

Not too bad for 93 next b/day!!
