Just recently noticed that when I am on the web the page seems to have slipped down slightly, just enough that I can see the edge of the desktop, and enough to hide the "blue bar" that tells me how the page is loading. I've tried clicking and dragging, and moving the mouse to the edge of the page to no effect and it is only happening on web pages, all other documents are ok. Anybody any idea?

Thanks
Kate.

Hi Kate

Surprised no-one has answered yet...

Look at the small squares in the top right-hand corner of the screen - Minimise, Restore/Maximise and Close.

What does the middle one look like?
If it shows two small window icons overlapping, then it is in Restore mode - i.e. the window is already maximised.

If the middle square shows a single large window icon, then the screen is not maximised - click on this square and the window will be maximised, and will automatically fit itself to your screen size, allowing you to see all the progress bars, etc.

I think:beer:

Thanks Peter

Yep, two overlapping squares on view, the window is maximised but not fitting correctly, there is a tiny gap at the top, maybe 5 or 6 mm. Its really weird cos it only happens on the web pages, so there is no problem with my monitor.????

Kate.

Kate,

try pressing F11 function key, this will ensure that the page is displayed 'full screen'. Sorry, that's all I can think.....
