I'm led to believe motorbicyclists gather at said carpark, eat burgers, drink coffee from polystyrene cups and disparage each others bikes...

:nenau

Anyone been ...or going?

Not been to that one, what time? I'll go if you want to! That way we can share the insults.

Not sure about a fashionable time: Shall have to consult my race-rep riding colleague at work....

...........anyhoo, it's sign-posted off the A1231 as "Washington Wetland Centre" or something...I seem to remember a picture of a duck...?

Postcode NE38 8LE for those with "nuveaux" sat-navs.....:augie

As ever, it's weather dependant........:hide

So where were you tonight then, we had some @rse sending coke bottles across the parking area via his exhaust pipe and the most boring GSer in the world asking about the weaker points of the 1200:(

But....tell me more about the curry:D

By the time I got home I'd forgotten about the "Lug-leech" and the other @rse...

I have the good lord above to thank for making me a born and bred resident of Washington. Only found out about this meet bout a month or so ago and went for a cple of weeks with my ktm riding friend, (theres lots of green round there and he likes to plough it up at every opportunity). Some nice people and some strange ones, however no other bmw's when ive been there.
We usually go to s/shields first and go mental on hot coffee and kitkats at minchellas, then back to washy for fizzy pop an chips, then home for tea.
Havent been for a few weeks, been on holiday. May have a look next week if theres gonna be a cple of you there.

I'm away for a couple of weeks, so I will not be there for a while.

Always worth putting up a post and see who responds though:thumb2
