well, got both of these items fitted on saturday and covered 500 miles since.

to confirm what has been said everywhere else on this site, they do exactly what they say on the box - buffeting gone!! shoulders still get a bit of wind, but helmet noise and neck strain much reduced.
all this, plus great service. quick, friendly and fairly-priced - spot on, thanks tobers. i just wish it could be like this everytime i buy something!
brisk plugs (DOR14LGS);
much smoother on the throttle, particularly when cold and at low revs. not that i really expected to but i noticed no more power anywhere, but *may* be getting slightly improved fuel economy, although i need to test this theory further. and, err, easy to fit?! they are slightly more expensive than normal plugs and don't last quite so long - but we're talking small quids here so who cares? so as long as they don't f*ck my engine in some weird and unexpected way - a good mod i reckon.
all in all, a successful weekend!!
