Anyone in or around Cardiff area interested in weekend rides or does anyone know where I can find anyone who does 'em?

Hi Chunky i'm up for some ride outs! I'm meeting some guys on Sunday for a ride out up to Devil's Bridge. The guy who organises this particular ride out is Andy Smith who runs Advanced courses locally.
He leads a ride out once a month and all are welcome, this will be the first time i have attended with them. Apparently they have riders of all abilities and no one gets left behind.
If you can't make Sunday let me know when you get out and about and i'll meet up with you.
By the way, the ride out on Sunday meets at McDonalds near ASDA off J32 of M4, set off at 0930 sharp i was told.

Hi Fellas, I'm Jonathan from Llandaff. Just got a 1150 Adventure a month ago, and I cant stop riding the thing! I even took a day off work on Wednesday because I needed a fix. Will do Chunky, I'll try and get there for about 0845-0900, wolf down some healthy breakfast before riding off! I'll be on 12GSA, the guy wobbling about the car park on tip toes!!!!!
I'll see you there, the ride out is very informal i believe, joining on or dropping off wherever you like, but will be good to get to Devil's Bridge, not been there before.

Biking Photographer you gonna come along on Sunday? The organiser, Andy, tells me this is not a BMW exclusive thing, all bikes and experience levels are welcome. If you can't make, will have to meet up some other time. Into a bit of photography myself!

Cheers Andy, what a great ride to Devils Bridge today.Thanks for introducing me to a really great bunch of people. It was a pleasure to be part of such a large(about 25-30 in number), well organised ride. It certainly had road presence, and was a refreshing change to riding in a small group or on my own. Top ride, to be recommended.

Yeah was a good day for sure, 272 miles when pulling into the garage! It was good to see so many guys and gals out, hope to join in again next month.
I have to admit i felt a bit slow but was not tempted to push further than my limits, thoroughly enjoyed it though! I'm just trying to fetch the day's ride off my GPS and convert it to a route at the moment, easier said than done me thinks.
Did you get back home in good time Jonathon or was dinner in the dog!?

No Problems Andy, only 20 mins late, and I was swimming with the kids in Llanishen Pool by 4pm. Sorry I did'nt get chance to talk , we'll put that right next time. I believe some of the lead riders set a quick pace today, but with such a well organised ride, way markers and a sweeper so no one got left behind. It allowed everbody to ride to their best, if they wanted to. Suited me fine, some days I like to push myself, others just to go with the flow- and we all get good and bad days as well! Anyway, thanks again, see you soon, Jonathan
