We visited Nethy Bridge and Gairloch, where we walked to a WW2 War Grave up in the hills.

Excellent stuff, thanx for posting the links. Some terrific photos. I can't believe all those plane parts are still there - really brings it home. As you said, they survive the war & die on the way home, terrible.

Aye, it's a sad story. As you look into the shallow loch that the prop is sticking out of you begin to notice more and more parts of the plane.
