One of the crushing downsides of having lost nearly 5 stone is having to part with my wardrobe of suits, many having only been worn once or twice. Most of these are sized for the more robust wearer. For reference, I was about 5'10/11', 15-16 stone. Chest sizes are around 44-46" and waists 38-40". Anyone is more than welcome to come and try for size in Halifax West Yorkshire.
In order of upset I have the following;
House of Bruar Tartan 3 piece dinner suit in Dark Isle 100% wool - link to website here They only now seem to stock the waistcoat but the suit was well in excess of £500 when new. Worn once
£175 posted - would swap immediately for a smaller version if my any miracle anyone had one!
Peter Christian Slate Blue Harris Tweed 3 piece suit 100% wool - Worn once to my daughter's wedding. Currently £625 on their website - again, £175 posted Link here
