weird oil issue

Left the r1200gs, 2500kms, at the chaps garage who will be importing the bike for me into gibraltar. When i started it outside his shop it was smoking pretty badly. drove 1km and it had reduced a little. restarted bike 1 hour later and no smoke whatsoever. I have now just got home 40kms later, and i have checked the oil level. It is at the top line of the sight glass, and previously it was always at the middle. There is no way that this guy would have added oil to the bike. Any theories?

Oil

It's been left on the sidestand for a while, oil has drained down from the cooler, also the oil level in the sight glass goes up and down like a whores draws depending on sidestand, how long you leave it before you check it etc, would'nt worry about it.

As above, I wouldn't worry unless it becomes regular.

Mine gives a blast of blue smoke on start up occasionally and no worries.

thing is. i always check the glass after about half an hour on the centre stand!

Someone must have secretly filled it up then...
