Well done Southport Superbikes!

Just wanted to say "well done" to the Southport Superbikes team for coming first in the Ride power survey dealer listings. A great effort by all, especially Jim - aftersales manager and thoroughly top chap. Richly deserved in my experience of them.

The only thing I couldn't believe is that the star of the show (Jim) was not in the picture of the team outside of the shop Talk about ironic. It's definitely a team effort, but Jim has put so much effort into the place and team in the couple of years that he's been there that to miss out on this well deserved recognition is, well, a shame. Still, he's mentioned in some of the stories submitted by other customers.

It's about time the rotund man they call Jim got some praise. I have been lucky enough to work with the man and the persona you guys get as customers is not some sort of corporate image, he is that genuine. Just a shame he's crap at riding still do not challenge him to a drinking contest under any circumstances as that is his real forte

Thanks for all your kind comments, and I am very sorry that I have not responded sooner. I had a bit of a bad December with one thing or another and have not been monitoring the site as I should, but on behalf of all of us at Southport Superbikes I would like to thank all those people that took the time to vote for us in the 2007 Ride survey, and would also like to take this opportunity to wish all the gsers on the site a very happy and safe new year.

Thanks GSmonkey, It was a pleasure doing businsss with you, but it was easy, I had what you wanted (pipes) and you had what I wanted (money for pipes) it was just a case of timing.
