How many were thinking of meeting at Magor services? We won't be able to leave Carmarthen till 8.30am - kid being picked up for school.

Taff let me know what time you think you'll be at Aber, and then it's about 25-30mins down to Magor, so if you get to Aber at say 10.30am..ish we can meet the rest of the bikes about 11..ish, it's not like we're going to be in a mad hurry is it:thumb2

I've spoken to Taff and at the moment 11am at Magor services looks to be fine.

From there take the B road and A48 to Chepstow, over the old Bridge and then get off the M4 (Chippenham exit I think), keeping motorway riding to absolute minimum.

Taff is also going to sus out a stop for lunch somewhere along the route as well.

M4 to Chippenham, BAH!!! :rob You can take the senic route through Aust, then the back road to Yate which takes ewe to Bath exit then B road to Wraxhall and over A420 towards Colherne and Boxhill :thumb and onto the London Road (A4) Chippenham/ Calne/ Avebury (to see the stones) then Malborough (loads of places for Luncheon and then A345 to Andover:beer: :Motomartin It's only a thought mind, :thumb2
I used to do the Pompy to Cardiff route every Friday/ sunday and this was the only way to stay awake, mind ewe that was 6 years ago, but a lot more enjoyable than the M4 corridor me thinks

That sounds alright to me Alan (I won't have a clue, I'll be following the high tech sat nav Tosser wallahs).

Just for clarification when we say Magor services, it's the Garage at the top of the site and not the actual service area:thumb2

I will probably have a small job to attend to on the way - 5 to 10 mins. If I can see that we are going to be at the garage at Magor services later than 11.00am I will contact Dickieboy on his mobile. The route I have on the GPS is pretty similar to Alans - but includes approx 12 miles of motorway leading up to the Bath turnoff. I'll fit in with everybody else though - if I can meet up with you in time. :thumb2

Typical. Not been before, do I take a couple of cans :beerjug: for tent erection duties and pre-nuptuals or do I go shopping after I've had a quick erection in the field. Joices joices:nenau
