were are 800s made ?

a bloke has just told me the new 800s engines are now made in china can anyone tell me different ?

As I understand it - Austria at the moment but will be moving to Thailand at the end of the year.

e mailed both bmw & rotax , got a reply straight back from rotax saying the 800 is made in there Austrian factory and guess what no reply from bmw [no suprise there then]
