West Midlands Meet

Hey, six of us tonight (five GSs and one RT), with three new faces; great to see you all and the curry went down well. :beer:
 
Hi Guys
I am taking over The Crown Hotel High Street Albrighton from the 2nd April.
I ride a GSA and i am looking to start some kind of meet with the odd ride out.
You would all be very welcome. You never know the wife might let me out if a few turn up.
 
April Meet

Meeting again on Wednesday - if we meet at The Acton Arms again this week (get the curry orders in as soon as you get there :D) and perhaps some of us can arrange to ride over to Albrighton some time - I used to live in the village and often drank in The Crown!

West Mids meet

I will be spending a couple of days riding the Normandy coast line next week, but I hope to join you again next month.
 
British summer time is here. Just looked at the weather forecast rain later again so I will see you all at the Acton Arms for a curry later.:beer::beer:
 
Six again this month, although only three from March's turnout.

Many thanks to Zach for shepherding me home after my clutch slave cylinder decided to empty itself onto my exhaust as I pulled up at the Acton Arms - luckily didn't have to stop on the way home so got back without using the clutch! Got up at 5 the next morning to spend three hours stripping it down before going to work; put it back together that evening and rode down to Yeovil for the start of the South West Peninsula Rally the next day.
 
Just a thought.

You might get more turning up if you started a new thread for each meet, the first post in this thread says 'Next meet will be Wednesday 5th February'.... this could be confusing for some ;)

TBH Paul, if anyone interested in attending a meet in the West Midlands can't go to the end of a two page thread set as a sticky to work out when the meet is on, then they'd probably only get lost trying to find their way to the pub so I think we should save them from the stress and embarrassment.

Having said that and given how many users of this forum must live within a short ride of the Acton Arms but have never bothered turning up, perhaps each month there are any number of GS's touring Shropshire trying to locate Morville on their satnavs - in fact I just tried to search for it in Google Maps and was directed to a lovely village just south of Cherbourg. so perhaps the ferry ride has put you all off. So to confirm - the monthly meet is on the first Wednesday of every month, anytime from 7pm at The Acton Arms in Morville (the one near Bridgnorth) - all (bike riders) welcome :)
 
Thought it was every week. Turned up last night at 5 stuck around until after 6 no one turned up.
Will try again.
