Rob,
I don't really think that this is the time or the place to start displaying photo's my fantastic new steed.
After all I wouldn't want all of the 1200 GS owners getting jelous
However, here's a couple of shots of what she looked like when she arrived home, and then about 2 hours later ...
Don't you just love the colour cordinated seat cover ...
... a bit of a ding at 1 O' Clock
... A bit more of an ouch at 5 O' Clock
Notice that it's a nice low milage example. It can't have been round the clock more than two or three times. As for the speedo ... who needs a speedo anyway.
... after I'd done my worst (for the day).
It would have been slightly more ... significant, except that the PO had misplaced the keys when I arrived to collect the beast. However his son has been on the phone tonight and assures me that the keys are in the post!
In all seriousness I'm quite chuffed with what I've managed to pick up for ... well, less than £ 200 ... and I'm not going to be too concerned WHEN (not if) I manage to drop it on some dirt road, somewhere .... like on its way to the OCR.
On the up side, I've been doing a bit of research locally and I think I've found a couple of places to sort out the wheels and seat, and as long as we aren't talking mega bucks, she should be back on the road in the not too distant future.
[Edit]
Once she's back on the road, I'll start thinking about the slightly more "ADVentourous" conversion options.

Have a good 'un
