Hi,

I did a quick mercy mission the other afternoon - my sister had planted her car into the bridge at Llanbrynmair (luckily she was OK although the car is knackered!) and ended up in Bronglais Hospital ... seemed like a good excuse to ride to Wales and back on my bike to see how she was. My first big trip on the bike (there and back with a couiple of hours turnaround) - and what a blast! Booting it along the dual carriageways was ... OK ... but once past Shrewsbury and into the Welsh borders the bike came alive! Twisty A road is where its at and the power and ease of overtaking made the ride a breeze! IN fact my return trip - Machynlleth to Nottingham only took (ahem!) 2.5 hrs and never felt like I was pushing the limits!

What an awesome bike!

Shame on me!
I hadn’t been out on my bike all January till Wednesday.
Didn’t do a lot of miles, but, well you know don’t you :thumb

Click on the pint to go to the pub.

I feel I must take issue with that last statement.

I got up this morning and fancied a breakfast pint, so............ clicked on the pint and..................... Feck all happened! I was still sitting in my lounge in my pyjamas with no beer!

I had to put on all my bike gear, stick 30 litres of petrol in the tank and ride for 2-1/2 hours to get to the pub!!

So - It was bloody lunchtime before I got the beer

I urge you, sir - to change your signature to something more accurate!

eg.
"Click on the beer and it will open up my website in a new page"

Good to see you today, Gordon. Good place you have there :thumb2
