Oh what fun it is to be a busy bumble bee:D
When you say was anyone about, do you mean about your kingdom, or just generally 'about'? 'cause I was oot and aboot at at Dunvegas Castle for a spot of luncheon with the queen mother and am going to see fireworks tonight...hope I get a sparkler!!:D:bounce1

now.............

if, I had been one o' yous' two (no thanks) and the weather was like it was here. I'd pass the Dunvegan Castle and carrying a picnic walked out to the coral beach and chilled . Then on way home stopped in at the Stein seafood resty to the prebooked table and finished the day nicely. Attending to the Q.M :kissy2 in the manner to which she deserves :rob (hmm, still think rob looks like me ,sans stick :blast) :augie:D:cool:

I'm sorry - but the best we could do was a plate of chips and a cup o tea in the Castle cafe!!:o

What A Glorious Day (it should have been):

Well, I'm glad you had a good day out.

I was looking forward to a trip to the Classic Bike Show at the 'Three Counties Showground', Great Malvern.

Up at 02:00 . . On the road at 03:00 . .

I got as far as the Annandale Water Services, near Lockerbie when I noticed that the clutch lever was rather slack, so I stopped.

I decided it would be prudent to turn back so returned home. The clutch packed up completely as I turned into my road end (phew).

I think the slave cylinder is letting air in as I don't appear to be losing fluid. I have just ordered the replacement bits from Motorworks.

By the time I got home it was too late to jump on the K1200GT as I would only have managed an hour or so at the show (and I was frozen, anyway). So, 180 miles in the cold and dark - going no-where.

Ho Hum. Must get the 1150GSA fixed in time for the NEC Bike Show.

Better luck to you all.

Bob.

Cracking day indeed
