With new highway codes coming into law effecting everyone regarding having 'full control' of a vehicle at all time, will the use of independent ''Highway Pegs'' be made illegal?

I assume some riders who even use the engine crash bars to put their feet up on could be seen by the law as having limited control.

I see little time difference , between use of Highway pegs and a car driver not having his foot resting on the brake pedal in readiness.
Furthermore , we BumW riders enjoy linked brakes .
What about cruise control ? Or one hand off the handlebars , or failure to have two hands on the steering wheel ?

No worries. It’s no different to existing law regarding control - Road vehicles (Constructikn and use) 1986

“104. No person shall drive or cause or permit any other person to drive, a motor vehicle on a road if he is in such a position that he cannot have proper control of the vehicle or have a full view of the road and traffic ahead.

They have to prove you are not in proper
control.

Unless of course you have a prang with a 3rd party then most likely you’ll have to prove that you were safe<body id="cke_pastebin" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow: hidden; left: -1000px;">104.
