WHAT ARE TOBINATORS & SCREEN QUESTION

Hi all, new to this 1150gsa life and would be grateful if someone could explain what these are please.


Also im getting buffetting around the 70mph mark, im 5'10", can ayone recommend a screen to stop this?

MRA screen works well for me (6'2") as for tobinators . . . .Have a look here.

Tobinators work ok provided you set them correctly.
Nippy Norman provides a pic in his website fitting guide which gave me a rough guide of where to set it and it worked. Otherwise it is trial and error.
I am 6 foot and have an extended screen which was on the bike when I bought it so don't know the manufacturer.

Tobinators transformed my 1150GS - the buffeting went almost completely. You need to play a little to get the right setting for you. I would not hestitate to buy them.....

+ 1 for Tobinators and Wunderlich high screen. 6`2" and a sea of calm surrounds me at 100Mph ......

I bought a set of Tobinators from Nippy N but having spent ages fiddling around and adjusting them, I just couldn't get them to a position that removed the buffeting (I'm 5'7" and use the Low seat).

Two after market screens later, I forked out the dosh and converted to a GSA screen. Sorted!

I tried Tobinators, which after a bit of trial and error (quite a bit actually) did more or less stop the buffeting but didn't reduce the noise. I found that the aeroflow screen cut noise and buffeting. B----- expensive though.
