What are your favourite no cost GS modifications?

I turned the petrol filler 180 degrees to make filling up a little easier.

I only went & broke my cap off by leaning on the pump handle when filling up last month :o
 
'Hard Part' steering stop made from old knobbly tyre blockis and cable tied to the fork legs.

Ice hocky puck on the bottom of side stand.

etc etc :P
 
I removed my wife from the pillion position. Bike handles much better now. :thumb

stopped eating for a couple of weeks.

(Actually saves money!)

Bike now goes quicker.
 
Made an oil cooler protector from some scrap stainless mesh at work, and made my own light bar from a roof truss strap, (galvanised and pre-drilled) Cost = £0

Cable tied some pipe insulation around the left hand frame tubes to stop my boot rubbing the paint off.

Done all that,
Remove front mudguard (this is Africa).

Remove rubbers from original pegs and weld some strip steel onto pegs, to make wide pegs.
