Made an oil cooler protector from some scrap stainless mesh at work, and made my own light bar from a roof truss strap, (galvanised and pre-drilled) Cost = £0

Cable tied some pipe insulation around the left hand frame tubes to stop my boot rubbing the paint off.

Remove exhaust can
Remove passenger footpegs
Remove rear seat
Remove rear grabrail

Spot a pattern?

Done all that,
Remove front mudguard (this is Africa).

Remove rubbers from original pegs and weld some strip steel onto pegs, to make wide pegs.

"Borrow" one block of Scrap Aluminium, chop out own risers.
