WHAT BIKE, ADVICE PLEASE !!!

I have recently started green laning/ trail riding and i am hooked.
i initially bought a Suzuki DRZ 400 which has done me proud.
I am looking to buy a KTM now to go with the Adv and i have seen two a 250 EXCF and a 450 EXC. Which one would be better for what i am using it for and why. And besides the obvious what are the main differences ????

If your only going to be using it for the lanes ...I would go for the 450 as it will have the legs for the road work and lets face it theres more and more road work to link up the lanes as so many are being closed

If your planning on doing more Hare and hounds events than lanes then a 250 would be better for a newbie rider
