What do you use to clean the exhaust?

I've never been one for cleaning bikes but the exhaust on my 2014 gs is starting to look a bit shabby. The down pipes have gone a brown colour and look dull almost matt. It's been a tough winter with a lot of salt on the road but the gs should be able to take a fair bit of abuse. Are there any products out there to get the shine back on her pipes?

Fine wire wool if bad then autosol

Alloy wheel clear with a toothbrush (wear gloves) then wash off after a few mins -good prep for detail polishing as it gets most of the surface "brown" off the pipe.

Plumbers wire wool with solvol autosol and a little bit of elbow grease
