what goggles

Not sure about which Scott goggles to recomend, but I'm using Oakley crowbars at the moment. They are quite a snug fit but have a sticky out bit which makes them easy to adjust when wearing them. No problems with misting up so far. I only use them when its dark or raining :thumb

Can enyone recomend me some scott goggles
to use on my Tour x
I've got the cheapest ones that they do.....whatever they're called. They're in a very fetching shade of blue and I now have them fitted with silver mirrored lenses. That's because for day to day use now that Winter's here, I bought a pair of Alpina goggles from Busters. £12.00 c/w tear-offs.

Gotta be Scott Hologram :bow

I use a Beiffe helmet, and the goggles i use are for people with glasses, I picked them up by mistake and when I tried them they were the best fit of the lot. And the bonus is being able to wear shades as well :thumb

Worth a try :nenau

Spy Alloys, fit the Tour-X nicely and you can get tinted lenses for them if needed. One thing to remember is the field of vision is vastly reduced when wearing goggles and life savers have to be more deliberate.

I got some military ESS goggles as I wasn't impressed with how thin the lenses were on 'off-road' goggles which offer no ballistic properties at all compared with a normal helmet visor. The ESS goggles also fitted inside my Tour-X much better than Scott ones as these seemed to big for the helmet, can't recommend the ESS profile ones enough :thumb , expensive but whats your sight worth?

I still have some double glazed Oakley enduro goggles, and they have been fantastic.

The only times i've experienced slight misting have been when trying to man-handle a sidecar combination out of the beach at Weston on the few occassions i've passengered for the beach race. :thumb

Not sure about the fit on the tour-X though, and i wouldn't worry to much about the lenses shattering. MX goggles seem to be much more pliable than a standard full face visor, and they were originally designed for keeping stones out of your eyes.

If you want the realy hard-core look, i seem to remember there is a company that make goggles with just a fine wire mesh in, can't remember who though :nenau !

Great goggles - I got 'em too.

However, don't leave them damp or the soft coating on the foam (the bit that rests against your face) delaminates and pulls off. DAMHIKT
