What happened to it?

I bought the SP 2720 soon after it became available. It was, is a great unit. What im puzzled about, is why Garmin pulled it suddenly, does anyone know why
And, with all the extras like the Motorad concepts mount and remote antenna, Power cable, deluxe carry case, ECT, it was near on a grand
