What maps should be shown to be loaded?

I'm playing with my new 2610.

I loaded all the GB maps across onto a 1GB CF card.

Plotted a route out this evening, then to another burger bar, and then invited it to get me home.

Excellent. It did all this.

However, on start up and following the Garmin splash screen, On the page 'Map Information' it lists only a few Scottish maps.

I know that the relevant bits for Hampshire are on the device, 'cos it knew all the very small roads to route me down.

Am I missing something straighforward?

Does it matter?

When you select the maps in Mapsource - at the bottom of the "Maps" tab is a button showing "Map Set Name" - normally it automatically chooses a name based on the maps you have selected. I click on that and remove the "Auto name this Map set" tickbox and give it a more suitable name. This will then show up on the splash screen.
