What Safety Camera Database?

Grey Beard:

I have used the speed camera database from Enfrig Media (www.scdb.info) for 6 years now, ever since Garmin released the first GPSR that supported POI annunication.

I have always been quite happy with this database and with the service I have had from this company. The price is quite inexpensive - about 10 Euro a year or so.

I have never, ever seen a speed camera in real life that is not already present in this database. It has superb coverage of both Germany and Switzerland.

Thanks Michael

I downloaded the free trial of the Garmin UK/Ireland Safety Camera Database to see what it does, (if anything), with audio on the Garmin cartographic data speed limits.

Then I will decide on what database suits best. The Garmin is quite pricey at UKP30/annum for Europe and I wouldn't use it so much. The SCDB is certainly the cheapest and looks good value. It's good to know that you find it reliable. Thank you.
