Folks I've seen this discussion before but I can't seem to find the threads. My bikes coming up for a year old but it's only done 2600 miles ( I know I'm sorry but I've been out of the country)

Do I get the 6000 mile service or the yearly one?

There seems to be a difference and I don't know what the differences are?

6k service, plus brake fluid change should do you -

clutch fluid change every 2 years , but i do them yearly or at 12K miles. If you leave it for 2 years you'll find the clutch bleed unit grub screw will be totally seized. Thats nice .

Not to much of a problem, if you have a bleed nipple to hand and manage to get the whole unit undone .

You could have a look in the manual?

Or ask the dealer what you need to have done to keep the warranty valid.

Or have a look on BM's site where you can download the service schedules?

if you've only done 6000 miles, then just get an annual. theres no point paying the extra labour to have the valve clearances checked if you dont need it! plus you wont have to wait for the bike to cool down!
