What size are my panniers?

What size are the 1200 GS's vario panniers?

This link says the left one goes from 28.5 to 37.5l and the right one from 37 to 46l

I just measured my Mane Event inner bags and reckon they're from 13 to 18l (left) and 21 to 27l right.

They'll naturally be smaller than the actual panniers or they wouldn't fit in but THAT much smaller?!?!

Just because you can pour 27 litres of water into a container doesn't mean that you could fit a "solid" bag into the same space. BTW I had the BM inner bags and they really seemed to waste a lot of space. Very nice bits of kit, but rather overengineered and as I said, wasted a lot of the spce, especially as I had the LH one
