What size TORX bits do I need for me new 1200GS wc

Spot on. There are a few on the LC that are actually a T27 (depending on the model variation)

The set ive bought in 3/8 drive does contain a T27 so im covered

Good thread this - thanks. I need to tool up a bit as what I have is woeful, but I did buy a 3/8s Draper torque wrench and some Aldi Torx screwdrivers but need a set of Torx bits.

For the bigger sized Torx T45,T50,T55 get some decent quality ones, as the footpegs and wheels etc are pretty tight, for the small ones hardly any torque is used, so you can use basically anything.

And just realised that you can addon a T15 Torx also for Cymarcs screen brackets, if you buy them.................
