I have the BMW bag for my 12 but it's too big and gets in the way if I stand up on the pegs. The SW Motech Engage looks like it's small enough - anyone know if you can stand up without it getting in the way?

I think it kinda depends on your body shape and how big your....... is... :augie

Personally... If I think I'm going to be standing up for any time... off comes the tank bag because along with standing up comes splashy grit to scratch the heck out of my tank...

Offroad wants a soft waterproof bag slung across the back in place of a tankbag IMHO...

I've got the SW Motech Engage bag. I'm 5'11'' and find it ideal. Does'nt get in the way and has enough room for waterproofs and sarnies. 10/10 for the bag.

Hi Steve, Just seen your post after i asked about what i think will be the same product -SW Motech Quick Lock BMW GS Tank bag 12V . If so did you go for the power option and how do you rate the kit.

Cheers

Did'nt go for the power option, i like to keep thing simple. Have been using the bag since August last year and think that it is great. I keep my waterproofs in it and there is still enough room for my packed lunch that i take to work. I rate the bag 10/10 and use it every day. When touring, the pockets are the right size for Toll tickets and money, plus you can get into them wuthout taking gloves off.

The bag is so good that i have the sports model on my CB1300.
