The (UK) importers tell me they’re only just coming in to the shops now, but if I can find one that fits as well as my Arai SZ I’ll probably get one. Benefits to me are the screen comes down lower than the SZ, it has the drop sunvisor, it’s said to be a quiet helmet (92db?) and as you said, the chin bar. Seems ideal to me, It should be a great touring helmet.

I saw one at my local dealers (De Jong in Alphen, Holland), and to be frank, the chin bar felt pretty flimsy. It's just some kind of polycarbonate thing, and I didn't feel I would have any confidence in it in the case of a face plant. I like the idea, but would rather have something hard.

Possibly, using some kind of metal instead of plastic for the chin bar would dangerous, it could bend on impact, but not go back, leaving you with a piece of steel/aluminium or whatever stuck in your face

Plastic maybe good
