Steve, the BMW kit has worked for me in the past, you get glue, plugs and 3 little air canisters, as well as a magic tool to insert the plugs.Tip , if you need to use it let ALL the air out of the tyre first.
Cheers Dave

A freind on his GS was at the TT last week. He repaired a rear puncture ( screw ) with the BM kit whilst there. The tyre was on it's last legs anyway. He rode back to Herts. With the same tyre he rode up to Cadwell, did a track day, rode back and the tyre is still fine !. I would say use a BM kit.

I've had loads of punctures and the BMW kit does it for me every time. Follow the instructions exactly and you won't have a problem. From experience you need lots of lubrication (rubber glue) to get the plug in. I buy extra glue so I have one tube of glue per plug.

The last puncture I had was 3K ago on a new rear tyre. I check it every ride and it's still sound.
